Hello! I am a creative and content writer who loves writing and research. I enjoyed working and writing for 6+ years as a Communications Coordinator/Graphic Designer with Marin non-profits, where I managed weekly e-news, artists opportunities and events, as well as web content and online ads for exhibits. I wrote press releases and articles about the arts both internally and for PATCH online news. I also assisted with grant writing. I continue to write and update my art blog (blogger since 2007), where I am especially passionate about San Francisco, Maui, music creation and live events, cycling and climate. I try to stay abreast of new tools, software and researching ways to improve communications and marketing. I began studying guitar in San Francisco in 2018 and I enjoying learning about songwriting and the music business. I briefly worked as an illustrator/researcher for Salesforce.org and am a student of Salesforce CRM, Marketing and the Trailhead online learning program.
I’ve published my latest short writing samples on Medium, but my biggest project to date is a personal music history and song-filled memoir that reads like a woman’s humorous and passionate escape journal. It’s full of letters, vivid dream-like poems, crazy rhymes, playlists, pranks and song-writing attempts sent to a band of musicians and an ex love. Questions arise… What is love? How do we choose to grow rather than remain stuck? How do we challenge ourselves to live with diversity, gender, and what is songwriting all about? This story is 4 years in the works, and I’m hoping to complete it soon! I have almost 400,000 words and this is my first book. I’d love to work with an editor.
