16" x 20" o/c

This painting, titled "Crossing the Chasm" , was created between April and June 2013.  It showed in the Marin Open Studios 25th anniversary exhibit in Corte Madera as an "unfinished work".  I brought it home and added the details, bringing to a better place in quality and emotion.  I love the little bolts that look like dots along the bridge itself.  I was inspired to make this a female cyclist as it speaks to my own challenges in life at this time, and my love of cycling.
